The Best Fitness Equipment For A Quick Workout At Home

fitness at home

I
f you don’t have time to go to the gym or attend a fitness class every day there are plenty of ways to do it within your home with only a few pieces of equipment.

Every year we all get busier and the time we have to look after ourselves seems to be less and less.

Whether we are busy at work, have a busy social life, have kids or are caring for other family members.

Driving to the gym, finding a car park and doing the workout then coming home and having a shower, it can turn into a 2-3 hour exercise (pardon the pun).

Don't get us wrong, we know that going out to exercise can be great, but sometimes its a choice between exercising or not exercising.

We think you should always choose exercise.

Best Fitness Equipment For Quick and Efficient Workouts

It’s easy to stay fit at home, and you don’t need the most high-tech equipment or even a home gym.

You just need the right products and you are good to go. 20 minutes 3-5 times a week is a great start.

Here is some of the best fitness equipment for quick workouts that will boost your motivation, mood, and effort:

1. A Treadmill

Treadmills are a great start.

You can get ones that you can walk and run on and ones that are foldable and easy to move around, so they don't take up a lot of space.

You can set a timer and put some music on or a TV show and just go for it.

We have had some customers who choose a TV series to watch and their rule is every time they want to watch the show they have to be on the treadmill.

We think this is a great idea!

2. Cross-Trainer

Cross trainers are another great piece of equipment that is good for the time poor, whilst using most of your body at the same time. Win-win!

3. Dumbbells

If you’re looking for a more intense, upper body workout and you can do without going to the gym each day, then a cheap dumbbell set is always a good choice.

They take up minimal space and can be easily hidden.

There so many different ways you can use them and different muscles that you can work.

Start off with just a few minutes a day - YouTube is a great place to start for beginners. If starting out, then adjustable dumbbells are recommended as they allow you to add on different levels of weights as you build your strength.

4. Exercise Bikes

Exercise bikes can make the perfect addition to your daily routine.

We recommend starting with 10 minutes a day 3 days a week and every week increasing by 5 minutes.

Again watching a good TV series can really help the time fly!

These are quite affordable and you can get either an upright bike, a recumbent bike, or a spin bike.

5. Hyperextension Bench

A strong back provides a solid foundation for being able to strengthen other muscles throughout the body.

Back hyperextension exercises are often overlooked when it comes to increasing your core strength and adding muscle mass, but they are commonly included in rehabilitation
programs.

To do this we highly recommend using a hyperextension bench.

5. Stepper Exercise Machine

Stepper machines are great as they are very low impact and also super easy to use.
They take up a small amount of room and you only need to use them for a short time to get some benefits.

For the beginners, we recommend just 2 minutes a day and every day increasing by 1 minute. Super easy for anyone to start.
